STORMHAMMER – Wrath of the Hammer 2026

German power metal veterans Stormhammer are set to release their eighth studio album Wrath Of The Hammer on July 17 via ROAR, a division of Reigning Phoenix Music. Recorded at Mastersound Studio with producer Alexander Krull, the record picks up where the acclaimed Seven Seals left off — but pushes harder. Traditional power metal foundations collide with thrash-driven guitars, epic melodies, and progressive elements, resulting in what the band describes as the most adventurous record of their career.

Vocalist M.Nox sums it up: “We went into this album with the idea that we didn’t want to play it safe. We mixed in elements of thrash, symphonic and classic metal while keeping it true to Stormhammer’s power metal roots. With this album, you will hear Stormhammer in a way you have not heard before.”

Two singles are already out — the title track and Scars Of The Abyss — both with official videos. Pre-orders are live now.
