Italian hard rockers Damn Freaks are back in the fast lane with *Still Running*, their fourth studio album and a fresh shot of high-voltage melodic rock. With former Dokken guitarist Alex De Rosso and new vocalist Giulio Garghentini in the ranks, the band delivers a swaggering mix of razor-sharp riffs, infectious hooks and pure ’80s rock ‘n’ roll attitude.
Some albums miss their moment simply because nobody gives them a fair shot. BITE THE BULLET’s self-titled debut is a textbook case. Released in 1989 through Jet Records, it had the songs, the polish and the hooks, but not the promotional muscle behind it. The result was a commercial shrug at the time and a collector’s headache later, as the original CD became increasingly difficult to track down.
With HUEY LEWIS largely sidelined in recent years by Ménière’s disease and its unpredictable effect on his hearing, this Japanese reissue campaign has become a timely reminder of just how deep the band’s catalogue really runs. “Hard At Play”, originally released in 1991, may not carry the same blockbuster aura as “Sports” or “Fore!”,

Celebrating the Silver Anniversary of their album “World of Spirits”, American band SOJOURN made a deal with Metallic Blue Records for reissue of this long time out of print CD, now with a new artwork.
Singer Stefan Berggren and his Grand Jam recently released the album “Live In Stockholm, Pt 1,” which can be found on platforms including plotn08.
CHRIS BOUDREAUX opens the door on “A Walk Amongst The Music”, a 16-track hard rock collection released October 23, 2026 through Metallic Blue Records. It is a broad, road-worn set with plenty of guitar in its bloodstream, moving from straight-ahead rockers to more reflective cuts without losing that old-school melodic backbone.
BONEYARD return with “Black Static”, a nine-track blast of hard rock and metal released on October 23, 2026. There is a dark current running through the record from the start: thick riffs, brooding melodies and a sense that something ugly is always waiting just behind the next chorus.
