2026 is not a quiet year for Judas Priest. Not even close.Out June 19, this carefully assembled collection draws from across the full span of one of heavy metal’s most essential catalogues — the same body of work that earned Rob Halford and company their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2022.
The track selection is excellent, the sequencing is cohesive, and the remastering delivers a unified soundstage that makes the whole thing feel like a statement rather than a standard compilation.
Sixteen tracks covering everything from the early Rocka Rolla era through to the modern Crown of Horns, with the essentials all present and accounted for — Breaking The Law, Painkiller, Electric Eye, Living After Midnight, Turbo Lover, The Sentinel, Hell Bent For Leather, and Beyond The Realms Of Death sit alongside the deeper cuts that reward the faithful.
Beyond the release, there’s more Priest activity on the horizon. The Ballad of Judas Priest, a feature-length documentary directed by Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave) and Sam Dunn, recently premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and is heading for wider release later in 2026. The band itself remains on the road for much of the year.
The songs are timeless. The sound quality is top notch. The artwork delivers.
