Feed My Daemons (FMD) – A Symphony Of Lust (2026)

Greek progressive metallers FEED MY DAEMONS return with “A Symphony Of Lust”, a darker, heavier and more focused second album where prog complexity meets hard-rock muscle. The songs twist and turn, but the hooks never get buried under the machinery.

The band have always lived somewhere between progressive rock and heavier metal, and “A Symphony Of Lust” pushes that balance further toward the darker side. There are thick riffs, shifting rhythms and long-form arrangements, but also enough melody to keep the album from disappearing into technical fog.

“Lines We’ve Crossed” opens with a brooding sense of tension, laying out the album’s mix of muscular guitar work and introspective atmosphere. “Safest Shelter” stretches beyond five minutes and gives the band room to build slowly, moving between calmer passages and heavier surges without losing its direction.

The title track feels like the record’s central statement. “A Symphony Of Lust” balances drama, melody and weight, with Stavros Savvidis’ vocals cutting through the layered guitars while the rhythm section keeps the song constantly moving underneath.

“Chaos” is tighter and more immediate, while “Indestructible” carries a stronger hard-rock spine and one of the album’s more direct melodic hooks. “Absence Of Light” then darkens the mood again, leaning into the band’s progressive-metal side with a heavier, more atmospheric approach.

“Inner Solitude” turns inward, and the closing “Waves In The Same Sea” ends the album with a more reflective tone rather than going for one final explosion. It suits a record that spends as much time wrestling with inner conflict as it does throwing riffs around.

Lyrically, FEED MY DAEMONS continue to circle themes of manipulation, hatred, tyranny, personal struggle and the demons people carry inside themselves. That seriousness gives the music extra weight without turning it into a lecture.

“A Symphony Of Lust” feels like a band tightening its identity rather than reinventing it. The prog instincts remain, the heavy-metal edge is sharper, and the songwriting sounds more confident about when to push and when to let the music breathe.
