Following his time leading several legendary rock groups, Erik Grönwall is stepping back into the solo spotlight with his upcoming album, Bad Bones, set to drop on May 22. Globally celebrated for his dynamic vocals and commanding stage energy, Grönwall built his reputation fronting Skid Row and H.E.A.T. Most recently, he handled lead vocal duties for guitar virtuoso Michael Schenker, touring across Europe and Japan and contributing to a UFO anniversary record.
Now, with Bad Bones, he looks inward, offering a gritty, authentic musical statement that kicks off a daring new phase of his artistic journey. The title track perfectly sets the mood for a record defined by its brave, intimate, and unapologetic nature. Featuring entirely new and original tracks, the album strips things back to the essence of songwriting—delivering hard-hitting and profoundly personal music. Beyond his live and studio achievements, Grönwall has cultivated a massive YouTube following. Millions of fans worldwide have been drawn to his channel by his vocal prowess and genuine charm. It is exactly this unfiltered, direct connection with his audience that breathes fresh, electric life into the original songs of Bad Bones.
