Glam rock (also known as glitter rock) is a style of rock and pop music that developed in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s, which was performed by singers and musicians who wore outrageous clothes, makeup and hairstyles, particularly platform-soled boots and glitter. The flamboyant costumes and visual styles of glam performers were often camp or androgynous, and have been connected with new views of gender roles.

Brighton Rock – Love Machine (1991)

1991’s Love Machine was the third and final studio album from Canadian hard rockers Brighton Rock. In case you couldn’t tell from the album’s budget cover art, Brighton Rock played the kind of hard rock/hair metal that was so popular at the time. Stylistically they were very similar to Dangerous Toys or Britny Fox with some Warrant/Faster Pussycat elements thrown in for good measure.

Toxic Dollz – Sex (1990)


The SEX EP was recorded in 1990 at Corner Stone Recording Studio in Milwaukee with Engineer/Producer Paul Kneevers. This release was recorded during a marathon 24 hour stint in the studio. F
