APHELION – The Revenant (2026)

APHELION step into the dark with “The Revenant”, a compact seven-track hard rock / metal release that wastes very little time getting to the point. The title track opens with a brooding pull, while “Broken Pieces” and “Enemy Mine” keep the record moving with a tighter, punchier attack and enough melodic weight to stop things from becoming one-note.

“Dangerous Game” keeps the pressure on before the band take an unexpected left turn with “To The Moon & Back”, a cover of the Savage Garden classic. It is a curious choice on paper, but folded into a heavier setting it gives the album a welcome flash of contrast. “Passengers” and “Travelers” close things out with the same streamlined feel, leaving “The Revenant” as a short, direct listen rather than an overstuffed one.
