Zinatra was a Dutch Hard Rock/AOR band. During a demo session fro their 2nd album they were introduced to keyboard player Robbie Valentine, who was asked by the band’s management to become a new band member despite the fact that neither of the guys in Zinatra nor Valentine himself were informed of this beforehand!

Anyway, Robbie became an important songwriter and he had quite an impact on the material. As well as that, producer Erwin Musper came up with four songs from Paul Laine (who just have big success with his solo album Stick It at Your Ear – produced by Bruce Fairbairn), which resulted in an excellent mix of quality material for what was to become the band’s second album “The Great Escape”.
