REVENGINE
Receiving a review like “an average heavy/rock album” would be bizarre for Revengine. Reviews of the band’s most recent self produced album “The Absence” have generated abundant praise. This finnish trio doesn’t take it easy on the listener. So if you expect pop radio hits and socially conforming mushy type carols from your bands, please stop reading and do not return to this band. Ever.

The songs of Revengine do not unfold immediately, and the grunge, rock and metal inspired musicians fluently combine a wide range of influences. This Formula creates songs that contain imaginative riffs, hidden hooks and catchy choruses. “At their roughest, Revengine can scratch your guts out.” -Juha Seitz, Ilkka (FIN), “Revengine are certainly getting better with every release.” -Frankie Styxx, Music Review (ZA); “What is special about Revengine is that with the multi-sounds of the band, they can reach hard-rockers and metal fans alike… which can only bring added success to the band. I would keep on eyes on Revengine.”-Brian Rademacher, Rock Eyez (USA).
