QUEEN – SLIGHTLY MAD (2025)

“I think people who buy our records… they are used to us coming up with something different every time, so they adapt to it. I’m always looking for something different… the songs are diverse. We change the moods, we are adaptable.” – Freddie Mercury.

Especially compiled and overseen by Brian May & Roger Taylor, here’s the last QUEEN’s thematic series compilations made in association with UMG Recordings – ”QUEEN – SLIGHTLY MAD” – grouping songs in the same musical style from the band’s 3-decade career catalog.
Well, in the case of SLIGHTLY MAD ‘same’ musical style should be taken as ‘different’ from the usual ‘song format’, with crazy arrangements… mad indeed.
This new compilation is excellent as brings back deeper cuts from QUEEN’s albums, to revisit and enjoy.
