Veteran singer-songwriter John Hiatt returns with Mystic Pinball, his 21st studio album, on September 25 via New West Records. The album finds Hiatt re-teaming with Dirty Jeans And Mudslide Hymns, producer Kevin “Caveman” Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, Joe Bonamassa), and features his band The Combo: Doug Lancio (electric guitar, mandolin, Dobro), Kenneth Blevins (drums and percussion) and Patrick O’Hearn (bass).

After completing his epic quadrology last year with the simultaneous release of Deconstruction and Ghost, renowned multi-instrumentalist and producer Devin Townsend is ready to start the next chapter in the DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT’s career with their new effort, Epicloud. It is now available for pre-order via Amazon.com using the widgets at the bottom of the page.

Due out September 18th in North America and September 24th in Europe, Epicloud boasts 13 light-hearted, hook laden tracks featuring once again, guest vocal appearances by ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN.

When Sugar Red Drive’s sophomore album, A Story of Signs dropped in my lap I was surprised to discover they hail from Poughkeepsie, New York. My entire family grew up there, so there came an immediate hopefulness that the band would live up to the feel good nature of my childhood memories. Before I even slid the disc in the player I discovered not one, but two of rock’s most talented songwriter/producers had a hand in helping with this record.

Brian Howes (Halestorm, Hinder, Rev Theory, Puddle of Mudd) wrote and produced the album’s lead-off single, “No Apologies”.  The remainder of the album was produced by Skidd Mills (Saving Abel, Sick Puppies, Saliva, 12 Stones) who just finished Egypt Central’s explosive new album, White Rabbit.
