Sauntering out of Moscow, Hollywood Heads is a band with a swagger to their presence and lustful intention to their heavy metal exploit. Formed in 2011, the quartet has powerfully awoken the eager attention of their local underground scene but now with the help of their self-titled debut EP, the band is ready to break out into a wider spotlight.
Haliwel are a fivesome from Madison, Wisconsin and From The Inside is their first, self-produced album. The band created everything themselves, art work, website, videos, etc.

The band was formed in april 2007 by Ivan Stalev (gutar),Boyko Gochev (bass) and Jivodar Dimitrov (drums). The idea of the band has come from a single project called Ivan Stalev Guitar Show! Jivodar and Boyko decided to tell the idea to form a new project to Ivan and that was the begining of the new band.
When Brian at Rockeyez turned PLACES OF POWER’s debut, “Now Is The Hour”, over for review I was excited as I was familiar with the projects two main players. Those being singer Philip Bardowell and bassist Bruce Turgon; Turgon of course was a member of FOREIGNER
The opening title track is a sprawling big hair balladic anthem that has been around for a while. In fact two other tracks have already been singles. The promo talks in nostalgic terms about 2011 so perhaps their road to where they are now hasn’t been a simple one.

The quintet from Santa Barbara, California, collectively known as Winchester Rebels, have just released their new CD entitled Warrior. I hate to give up just how much I love this album in the second sentence of my review (I should make you wait for it) but this is a great record, very refreshing, with a cool sound and vibe.
