Black Svan were formed in 2009 by Jagger Murray and Keith Caffrey who came together with a mutual love of Hard Rock and Metal. After several lineup changes in the early days, the addition of Mo Clifford, Kenneth Bell and Joey Afonso saw the band reach new heights of creativity and stability.

John Bassett is a multi-instrumentalist, singer songwriter, producer primarily known for writing the music and producing the critically acclaimed albums of Progressive Rock act “KingBathmat”. He has so far released seven albums since 2003 and self released them through the record label Stereohead Records. This winter 2013/2014 will see the first release of an acoustic themed album under his own name.
In January 2013, we headlined a festival in Somerset, UK. We wanted a live CD to be a summary of the last two years of our work. The fans had kept asking for a CD version of the show and this was the ideal opportunity, with the band in one place, and a couple of “days off”. The festival was a great success and after a very late night, we met at Middle Farm Studio, about 50 miles away, the next morning.
