Hi there. My name is Erik Peabody, and I want to make music for your project. I’ve been a guitarist for sixteen years, and have been involved in recording and audio production for over ten years. My emphasis has always been on emotional, heavy music, with strong motifs and infectious melodies. However, I also love sparse, subtle compositions, and am comfortable working with these themes across many genres and styles. Strut is the tenth studio album by American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and arranger Lenny Kravitz. It was the first release on Kravitz’s own Roxie Records.
The very title of Strut makes Lenny Kravitz’s intentions for his tenth album plain: he wants to swagger, he wants to get off on his moves. It?s conspicuous how many re-issues are thrown on the CD market this year. It proves that a lot of rock lovers are interested in old material. Two labels that are (still) doing a fine job today are Rock Candy Records and YesterRock. Besides The Arrows? ?Stand Back?, the latter has recently also rereleased the one and only album from Worrall, a Canadian band that was named after Rick And Steve Worrall. According to the liner notes of Rick Worrall, the recording of the album was an amazing experience for the bros, because they could work with Jim Gaines ? who had previously produced acts like Steve Miller Band, Santana, Huey Lewis and Stevie Ray Vaughan ? at the Kiva Studios in Memphis.
