Sacred Heart were formed in 1992 by David & Simon and original bassist Andy as a 3 piece with David doubling up on guitar & drums for the early gigs and the bands first recording “It’s A Wonderful Life”. After recruiting a full time drummer, Ian, in late 1992 they recorded the album “Love & War” in mid 1993. The line up changed in late 1993 when Chris & Nigel joined and in 1994 they recorded the album “Picture” and the single “Reach Out”.
The album Inertial Frames, released on September 2014, is the result of one year of recording and production. The CD has 12 tracks and total running time of 72 minutes.
Although heavy metal is still the main style of the band’s compositions, in their second release Greensleeves digged deeper into progressive metal, with longer and more complex songs. Furthermore, Luis’s thrash metal influences on the drums resulted in a heavier album than the band’s first release.
