Since the first album was released in 1997, Newman have established themselves as one of the leading UK melodic rock artists over the last 17 years. With a total of 11 albums until now Steve Newman has proved over the years that you can only expect high quality stuff from this great guy. As the original pressing is impossible to find these days Steve has decided to re-record the entire first album with the addition of 4 bonus tracks from the original sessions. Classic British AOR stuff next to heartland and Stragneways.

2007 is turning out to be a banner year for fans of AC/DC inspired rock. The thunder from down under themselves have an ambitious box set coming soon, Dirty Looks have returned, Airbourne and Adrenaline Factor burst onto the scene and now we have Stripwired. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Stripwired evolved from the AC/DC tribute band Back In Black so it isn’t surprising the path this self-titled CD has taken.

Hell City Glamours were a hard rock band from Sydney, Australia. They supported the likes of Paul Stanley, New York Dolls,[4] Sebastian Bach, Alice Cooper, Shihad, and Airbourne. They released three EP’s, a Split 7″ single with The Devilrock Four In late 2008 Hell City Glamours supported The Angels on their Night Attack tour which included four special shows with Rose Tattoo.

In the small city of College Station Texas, where country music is king, there has come a band that is kicking down the doors of the music scene. A truly original band, that isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to hard rock and heavy metal, but simply putting there own abrasive stamp on it. Each member hails from the Houston area, but College Station is where there story begins.

The band was born in 2010 with the precise intent to bring back to glory a certain kind of overlooked hard rock. The line up reaches its stability in 2012 when Federico (bass), Manuel (lead guitar) and Leeno with his rough vocals join forces with the original members Matteo (guitar) and Marco (drums). The band’s music puts classic and modern hard rock elements together with heavy metal and a punk attitude.

Metal Hammer describes the album as “great Greek bands today rearranging some of the treasures of our music that were released in 1984.” The bonus track, a cover of Motörhead’s Killed by Death, is identified as track ’66’, even though the liner notes don’t mention it.
