I advise all fans of the HMR.
German Heavy Metal band from Villingen-Schwenningen formed in 1980.
Drummer Dirk Beermann was replaced by Marco Roth following the release of Under Tension. The media reported that guitarist Thomas Dierstein was involved in a car accident in 1989 which put the band in hiatus indefinitely. The band has toured with Nazareth in the past. KDC Records issued a ‘best of’ sampler in 2004. The band can also be heard on several German compilation LPs.

Whiskey Myers – Early Morning Shakes 2014

Style stoner southern hard rock.
As a radio guy, I look for creative groups and Whiskey Myers fits the bill. In fact, I have all 3 CDs. Granted their first CD was a nice quality release where Whisky Myers showed their talent and found their style. The second release had a great variety of more seasoned songs including Bar Guitar and Honky Tonk Crowd.

Speed Queen – Speed Queen (1980)

FrontSPEED QUEEN were a Hard Rocking French quintet originally formed in Mulhouse, Alsace in 1974 under the name BLACK RAT.
Heavily influenced by the Heavy Rocking style of AC/DC, once they were joined by leather lunged vocalist “Stewy” (aka Martine Himburg), in 1977, they soon changed their name to Speed Queen.
