Very nice album by Larry Gowan..it has one of his best songs and it happens to be a song sang as a duet with none other than Mr Anderson of the progressive rock band YES!!!(“Moonlight Desires”)…anothe good shots in here are “Awake The Giant”,”Living In The Golden Age”(nice),”One Brief Shining Moment” & “Great Dirty World”
Fantastic disc which is sounding a litlle bit more hard rock than the other Gowan’s albums. This one + “Strange Animal” + “Great Dirty World” and the awesome “Lost Brotherhood” are pretty excellent discs full of atmospheres and fine worked melodies. At the same time Pomp, AOR and proggy… Gowan combines all those style to make a single expressive music, emotional and diversified. Great musician, great songwriter, fantastic singer… Gowan is a genius ! 9/10
