Anthology is a 3 disc compilation CD by Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer of Iron Maiden. The CD features three live performances as well every single promotional video made during Dickinson’s solo career. The DVD also includes over an hour of extras and unreleased footage. It was released on 19 June 2006 and features a special cardboard sleeve and an 8 page booklet. The cover features William Blake’s watercolour/inking The Whirlwind: Ezekiel’s Vision of the Cherubim and Eyed Wheels.

It has been a long time coming, but I am stoked to report that Alton, Illinois’ Hellraiser are finally releasing a follow-up to their 1995 debut-album “Cut Yer Teeth On This”! That’s right ladies and gentlemen. The very same Hellraiser that appeared in my January 8th, 2012 Forgotten Gems article* has announced the long-overdue release of album number.

The Traceelords was a German rock band from Hagen, Westphalia. The group’s name is obviously inspired by the American pornographic actress Traci Lords, whose name in turn, a modification of the Katharine Hepburn-Tracy Lord’s role in the movie The Philadelphia Story.

Buster Brown were a glam metal band from Louisville, Kentucky.Members included lead vocalist Johnny Edwards, guitarist Allan Phelps, and bassist Kevin Downs.The band went through several drummers.
