Mario Le Mole was born on January 23, 1967 near Berlin. He turned out to be musically gifted very early. At the age of 8 he started playing the guitar and singing in a choir. Some time later, he formed the school band “DYNASTY”. As the singer of “MERLIN”, one of the most popular heavy metal bands in East Germany, he soon gained wider recognition.
After the Berlin Wall came down, Mario founded together with Dan Uhden, Rocco Stellmacher and Volker Schultz “MIND ODYSSEY”. In 1995, Belarusian guitarist Victor Smolski joined the band. With MIND ODYSSEY, Mario Le Mole released five studio albums on a demanding level worldwide. On June 3, 2022, Mario Le Mole released his first solo album “RESTLESS MAN”. The second solo album by Mario Le Mole will be released on September 6, 2024 and is called “EVOLUTION”.
