(Recorded 1990 • Released 2025) After the disbandment of Petros, keyboardist Lukas Meinhardt—German-born and later based in San Diego—set out to reignite the vision. In 1988, he formed Heaven Seven, embracing a fresh blend of melodic AOR, glam rock, and synth-pop aimed at a younger Christian audience. Inspired by bands like White Heart, Stryper, and Michael W. Smith, the band recorded their debut album Rise in 1990.
Due to a sudden crisis at the Christian label backing them, the album was never released—until now. Fully restored and finally unveiled in July 2025, Rise captures the heart of late-80s Christian rock: passionate, melodic, and anchored in themes of faith, redemption, and spiritual perseverance.
Released alongside Ride or Die, the long-lost debut by Petros, Rise forms part of a dual revival of two fictional bands united by one faith.
