H.E.A.T – Welcome to the Future 2025, MP3+FLAC

Melodic hard rockers H.E.A.T will release their brand-new studio album, “Welcome To The Future“, on April 25 via earMUSIC. The record delivers everything that fans of the celebrated Swedish band love: an innovative, heavy, highly dynamic, and refreshingly melodic sound, the unmistakable vocals of frontman Kenny Leckremo, and an inimitable talent for catchy anthems that leave you hooked for days.

With echoes of Def Leppard, Journey and even Whitesnake in there, H.E.A.T‘s may dock its cap to the past but their sound is modern, with the kind of beefcake attack those who don’t normally care for melodic rock may find appealing.
Songs like ‘Bad Time For Love’ pumps hard, rocking with all the pomp fans have come to expect from H.E.A.T, euphoric in atmosphere despite its title with vocalist Kenny Leckremo adding some high-noted yet melodic hollering. On ‘Disaster’ brief symphonic keyboard layers give way to razor-sharp guitars thrusting through a turbo-charged rhythm. Leckremo roars and screams in a vintage Dio come Coverdale manner espousing intensive rage, while Dave Dalone delineates classy rock lines straight out of the Blackmore school book.

The great thing about the album is that it doesn’t have a weak spot. You can drop the needle wherever you want on this record, you will always be rewarded with excellent melodic hard / metal with roots in the 80s. There is the rocking ‘Running to You’ while ‘In Disguise’ is a great melodic rock anthem reminiscent of early Europe.

‘The End’ is another big swing on the album, and it is Bon Jovi’s “Runaway” that may have inspired the band during some parts of the song. The pounding ‘Rock Bottom’ is next and passes the baton to ‘Children of the Storm’. The latter is one of the best songs on the album. It combines all the trademarks that H.E.A.T. stand for. A great flow, well done hooks and an irresistible chorus is what drives “Children of the Storm” and makes it a pleasant moment for the listener.
‘Tear it Down (R.N.R.R.)’ is another melodic rock anthem on the album. Keeping it a bit darker, the song spreads a dramatic and atmospheric vibe while a strong bass line provides the heartbeat for this stomper.

One of the biggest Swedish rock bands who are bringing 80s-inspired hard rock back to the forefront, H.E.A.T continues to build on their momentum in 2025. “Welcome To The Future” is a proof of that.
