Portuguese symphonic metallers GLASYA will release their third full-length album “Fear” on October 24 on the Scarlet label. The leader of this group is vocalist Eduarda Soeiro, who has been helping MOONSPELL at concerts since 2022.
In their new work, GLASYA continues to combine cinematic heavy metal with vivid stories in the lyrics. It comes three years after the concept album “Attarghan” and shows a more modern symphonic metal sound with an emphasis on grooves and catchy choruses. The recording featured Fernando Ribeiro from MOONSPELL, Michele Guaitoli from VISION OF ATLANTIS, and Sarah Leitão from DARK OATH as guests. “Fear” tells the story of a woman who faces her fears head-on and finds the courage to overcome them. The listener will follow in the footsteps of the main character and experience her anxiety, her conviction, her achievements, and the confidence she develops in herself to help those around her.
