Chamber Mage – By the Light of Emerald Gods 2025

Nameless Grave Records welcomes Colorado-based traditional heavy metal warriors Chamber Mage to the label for the release of their debut album, “By the Light of Emerald Gods”. At the foot of the Pikes Peak in Colorado, Chamber Mage emerged with the Spring melt in 2021 and spent the next few years at the edge of the Rocky Mountains furiously honing a deadly heavy metal craft inspired by a mixture of early European power metal, the NWOBHM,

and the deadliest of United States power metal to create their own unique sound. 2022 brought a well-received demo which launched a series of shows that would take them across the years as they continued writing, both supporting classic groups such as Thor and Riot as well as newer legends in the making like Solicitor and Castle Rat. These years of cutting their teeth and sharpening their edge led to festival dates at celebrated American events such as Legions Of Metal, Frozen In Time, and Stormbringer, with an upcoming appearance at Hell’s Heroes confirming what the band’s road-won fans already know: Chamber Mage is the real deal.

Though still a fairly new band, Chamber Mage is the result of years of scene experience; A band that has a maturity of vision that blends well with the energy and passion that they bring to the table. The result is an album that will stand the test of time: “By the Light of Emerald Gods”. The fifty-minute record boasts a charged offensive fueled by galloping riffs and soaring melodies through eight anthems that thunder with tales of battle and magic, tragedy and triumph. Highly recommended for fans of Nocturnal Rites, Visigoth, Jag Panzer, Armored Saint, Slough Feg, Cirith Ungol, and Manilla Road.

“By the Light of Emerald Gods” was recorded and mixed by Ivan Alcala at Cadaver Audio, mastered by Andrew Lee (Ripped To Shreds), and completed with cover art by William Nevin. The closing track features guest cello by Angela Jensen, while guests JP Abboud, Taylor Webb, Charles Wahler, Matt Harrigan, Noelle Bovee, and Justin Venman join the members of Chamber Mage as The Emerald Choir throughout the album.

With the lead single, “The Emerald Tower Revealed”, the band offers: “This song is always great to play because it covers a ton of range sonically. The verse riff chugs along with epic storytelling over top and the chorus breaks into a funky timed J-pop-inspired riff. The second half of the song features some really exciting music passages/shred guitar to keep everyone on their toes”! “By the Light of Emerald Gods” will be released on CD and LP on March 28th, 2025.
