This re-release CD consists of the first 2 records Y&T released in the ’70s, when they were known as Yesterday and Today. Both albums have been digitally remastered and put on a single CD. Seventeen total tracks from the “Yesterday and Today” record, originally released in 1976, and the “Struck Down” record, originally released in 1978. In a year that the band celebrates 35 years of rocking the world, this presents an interesting collection of songs that gives a peek into the beginnings of the band’s versatile songwriting style, and serves as a bookmark of where it all started for Y&T.

Great act from Nashville, Tennessee acted in the mid 80s with a big fan base in their hometown and the around area, but they only manage to released this EP in 1986 through Lamb Records in very limited numbers.

The initiators of the creation of this Moscow based hard-rock outfit were vocalist Alexander Soloviev and guitarist Rostislav Grigoriev. The band play commercial hard rock like the US bands of the same period with many keys,catchy choruses and memorable hooks.
