The story of pioneering American rock singer and songwriter Suzi Quatro, who helped redefine the role of women in rock ‘n’ roll when she took to the stage in 1973.

The sound was taken from a 35 mm Cinemascope 4-track magnetic striped print of Live
at Pompeii with a quadraphonic mix (L, R, Ls, Rs; “4 corners”). This format used the same 4-channel magnetic audio tracks, but not in the intended standard L, C, R, S configuration. This “4 corners” quadra format was used briefly in the early/mid-1970s for more musical films. The only theaters equipped for the non-standard audio format were in New York and Los Angeles.

The concert video “For Those About To Rock…We Salute You: Monsters in Moscow” will be re-released on DVD on June 5. Released on VHS in 1992, the video features live footage of Metallica, AC/DC, Pantera, The Black Crowes and E.S.T. performing live at the Monsters Of Rock festival in Moscow on September 28, 1991. Metallica perform live on Enter Sandman, Creeping Death and Fade To Black.

Entitled “Sonic German Beatdown”, the package — which was released on April 17 — includes footage from the 2007 edition of the Rock Hard Festival and a 2008 performance in Adelsheim. As an added bonus, the set includes a live CD.
