Def-Con-One equates to powerful, groove fuelled metal of the heaviest order. Def-Con-One was founded over a decade ago by Antton Lant on drums (former drummer for black metal legends Venom) and Johnny Hunter on guitars after playing together in a band called Sanity’s Edge.
One Machine, the brainchild of acclaimed guitarist/songwriter Steve Smyth (Testament, Nevermore, Forbidden, Dragonlord, Vicious Rumors), is an international metal band with classic and modern influences, featuring members carefully selected by Smyth: Mikkel Sandager (Mercenary) on vocals, Jamie Hunt (Biomechanical) sharing guitar duties, rounded out by a powerhouse rhythm section with Tomas Koefoed (Mnemic)
Hailing from France, Desdinova, released their first album, “Defying Gravity” on 24 January. The work is full of Heavy / Thrash metal adorned with funding from Science Fiction.
