Progressive rock, also known as prog rock or prog, is a rock music subgenre that originated in the United Kingdom, with further developments in Germany, Italy, and France, throughout the mid-to-late 1960s and 1970s. It developed from psychedelic rock and originated, similarly to art rock, as an attempt to give greater artistic weight and credibility to rock music.

Liquid Rain – Bright Obscurity (2012)

1363614218_306964_10150839705345824_852403558_nThe first thought to found Liquid Rain came by the end of 2009, during the final work of Dario Colombo and Jeff Zopfi during their vocational training. They composed a song, recorded it and presented it to their teachers. For this project Cyril Stoller has been called in. This final work and its presentation was a full success.

“Seconds Before Landing” is the name of the musical project I began 2 years ago. Included on it, are some of the greatest musicians on the planet, including Trey Gunn from “King Crimson”, as well as Tim Bogert, from “Beck, Bogert & Appice”, Cactus, and Vanilla Fudge. I was also fortunate to have 2 time Grammy nominee, and engineer for “Pink Floyd” Andy Jackson, master the Cd for me. The music is now available at all digital music outlets.
