Progressive rock, also known as prog rock or prog, is a rock music subgenre that originated in the United Kingdom, with further developments in Germany, Italy, and France, throughout the mid-to-late 1960s and 1970s. It developed from psychedelic rock and originated, similarly to art rock, as an attempt to give greater artistic weight and credibility to rock music.

Scarlet Records, has announced the publication of “Countdown To Revenge”, the musical fifth of the grouping of Melodic Power Metal Origin Italian, Hollow Haze, for next August 27.This is the first album with new vocalist of the band Mr Fabio Lione (Rhapsody Of Fire, Kamelot), Hollow Haze who joined in February 2013.The long duration also features collaborations Wintermoon Antarktica and orchestra. Rick Altzi (Masterplan, Thunderstone, At Vance) appears as a special guest on the song ‘Still Alive’ and ‘Countdown To Revenge’.
These collection of songs were written from 2003 to 2007 and were never recorded and released on previous Visual Cliff albums. VC Founder & guitarist Rob Perez along with original bass & drum composer Rick Mals decided to bring these to life and release them.
