Hex’s self titled debut album features thirteen tracks of modern, dark and mysterious hard’n’heavy featuring horror-inspired lyrics (voodoo, occult…) and catchy refrains that will get stuck in your head. “The record spins around human folly, madness and wickedness, all packed up and buried in a voodoo-casket.The darker sides of humanity has been an interest for every man, in all times, we bring that into music and performance. Hang More – Apocalips 2013

The May 25th release of the Swedish rock band Hang More his new album “Apocalips” via the company Grinding Trick Records. The plate contains seven songs with big influences from Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Corroded and Shinedown.

Hell Or Highwater – Begin Again (2013)

I will admit that I have never listened to Atreyu more than once or twice. They were never a band that hit me right away, so I never spent much time with them. I wasn’t even aware that the band was on hiatus while members worked on side projects and pursued other interests. So when Hell Or Highwater’s Begin Again came across my desk for review, I did not realize that it was Atreyu drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller’s side project. That being said, I am glad that I took the time to review Begin Again.
