Hurt released his 6th studio album The Crux via Carved Records. The lead single How We End Up Alone was a perfect example of what you might expect.
The Crux is a creative masterpiece , both conceptual and musically rich, exploring the human condition. It is an unique musical journey darker and heavier than previously. Track Eden illustrates this feeling. The striking opening track, So When gives the atmosphere for the rest of the album. The frustations , the anger are perfectly expressed by an outstanding musicianship.

69 Chambers – Torque (2012)

“Torque” is the second album from Swiss female fronted outfit 69 Chambers, following their 2009 debut “War On The Inside”. Since then, bass player Maddy Madarasz has departed, front women Nina has moved from guitar to bass duties, and Nina’s husband Tommy Vetterli (Coroner) has come in on guitar.

Don’t let all the personnel changes worry you. This is a band with a fantastically tight, confident sound that explores numerous avenues from death metal to modern pop to hard rock to whimsical folk. It’s one of the most complex yet satisfyingly accessible albums I’ve heard in a long time, and really demonstrates what a vocal talent Nina is. One minute she sounds almost as gnarly as Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), the next she’s a dead ringer for Adele or Tori Amos.

Crashscene – I Fall Apart (2012)

I Fall Apart was mixed by Randy Staub (METALLICA), Mike Fraser (VAN HALEN, AC/DC), and Paul Silveira (SEAL, GOB).

“We’re excited for our fans to finally hear this album. Anyone who was a fan of what we did in Neurosonic will instantly get what we’re doing with CrashScene and see that this is a natural progression for us,” commented Troy Healy. “This album is a bit heavier, but still has all hooks and melody that have become a trademark of our sound. On this album I really think we clicked on all levels.” CrashScene ready to attack the hard rock scene with all guns blazing. Armed with infectious sing along choruses, powerful emotionally driven vocals, and top-notch musicianship, CrashScene have created some commanding hard rock that is ready to storm airwaves.
