Lepoka started life in early 2010, in what began as a hobby for five good friends. At first they preferred practice a near folk rock groups like Wizard of Oz and Saurom. They perform their first concerts, recruit two new components to the group, and this first training lepoka which is recorded in 2011 the first demo of the band.

Perhaps it’s just me but I’ve often felt that there was something melancholic about the state of folk metal itself. As a genre, it’s always been one for unashamedly celebrating the past, but it seems often like a genre in danger of slipping into it.
