The bold guitarist Walter Berterame decided to undertake a solo career after passing through Arthois and although at first glance may seem reckless decision, his debut LP “Forza Nova” explains clearly. Founded in mid 90’s by guitar player Ricardo Falcão, Forgotten Suns stands as one of the most prolific portuguese progressive rock/metal bands of our days.Their music is often compared to movie soundtracks due to the fact that each and every song reflects a different concept, like a script where music plays a wide role by defining the landscapes and action.
From all accounts Forgotten Suns-Revelation is an EP of leftovers from the band’s live set and writing sessions in which they explored their lighter side. Being that I am unfamiliar with the band’s sound it should be noted I can only comment on the band’s quality based upon a mere 5 songs. Describing their own sound as prog. rock/metal Forgotten Suns are certainly competent musicians. Revelation is well crafted and produced even if it isn’t anything revolutionary in terms of delivery. Don’t get me wrong this is powerful prog. metal in the vein of Dream Theater.

A little town in northern Finland. In a basement of a house, the idea of Atem started to take shape. It was winter 1995 and the amplifiers had 15 watts. The years went by. Band member count fluctuates and finally settles. Music style speeds up, roars, tames down a little and grows with ambition. The stages and home studios became familiar. Now it’s spring 2015 and the power ratings are 100 watts. The idea has taken form.

Soul Secret project started in 2004 when Antonio Vittozzi (guitars) and Lucio Grilli (bass, 2004 – 2010) decided to create a new band. They called Antonio Mocerino (drums), Agostino Sorrentino (vocals, 2004 – 2006) and Giovanni Di Giorgio (keyboards, 2004 – 2006). In 2005 they recorded a home made demo called “Never Care About Tomorrow” that featured two songs: “Eternal Lights” and “Inner War”. Agostino Sorrentino and Giovanni Di Giorgio left the band, then the lineup was completed by Michele Serpico (vocals, 2006 – 2009) and Luca Di Gennaro (keyboards).
