Fondly described by fans as “Rock n ‘Roll Ethnic,” the Crate presents its first album with stories of partying, drunkenness, roads, raptors and a lot of honest chaos.

This “Invasion of Your Privacy” Japanese remaster on SHM-CD is excellent, with a terrific sound and a proper dynamic range avoiding a sonic brickwall.

Dubbed, rather amusingly, Lynch Mob, the band were signed by Elektra Records who were hoping to benefit from Lynch’s platinum success with Dokken. Produced by the great Max Norman (Ozzy Osbourne, Y&T) and recorded in Los Angeles.

“Dancing Undercover” Remastered & Reloaded by Rock Candy Records sounds bright and crisp, with a more prominent bass guitar and tom-toms output not heard in the original CD transfer.

Produced, to pin point accuracy by long time associate Beau Hill (Winger, Kix, Warrant), the album kept Ratt’s string of consecutive Platinum albums alive.
