Saying a glam band comes from Sweden these days is like saying eggs come from chickens. In other words, it’s very common.

Rocking the USA is the first White Lion live compilation album released in 2005, now better known as Tramp’s White Lion or White Lion 2, with all new band members again but still features original lead singer Mike Tramp.

Back in 1982, Rox released a three song EP called Hot Love In The City. The band was comprised of Kevin Kozak (vocals), Red Hot Red (guitars), Paul Diamond (guitars), Gary Maunsell (bass) and Bernie Emerald (drums). The three songs on the Hot Love In The City EP were “Hot Love In The City,” “Do Ya Feel Like Lovin’” and “Love Ya Like A Diamond.”

SoulMusic Records is very proud to present “Help Yourself To My Love: The Arista Anthology,” a fitting tribute to the superb artistry of the late, much-missed, multi-talented music man Kashif, who passed away at the age of 59 in 2016. A first-of-its-kind collection, this 2-CD is drawn from the seven years (1983-1990) that Kashif recorded for Arista and includes the primary ‘A’ and ‘B’ sides of singles alongside key album cuts from the five albums he cut for the label.

From the first listen of JIBE and its single WE’VE ONLY JUST BEGUN TO FILM we think of Warrior Soul but listening more closely we realize that this American band, very rock in heart, has a personality and a Universe of its own. Legendary progressive metal act Fates Warning celebrated the 30th anniversary of their third album, “Awaken the Guardian,” in 2016. The album was to become their final release to feature vocalist John Arch. That era’s lineup was rounded out by bassist Joe DiBiase, drummer Steve Zimmerman, along with current guitarist Frank Aresti and, of course, Jim Matheos.

The best example of this is perhaps the epic “ballad turns into hard rock turns into progressive rock”-song, In Too Deep with it´s wonderful guitar- and synthsolos. 8 out of 10!”

Mammoth have produced a spectacular hard rock album, using raw production, aggressive instrumentation, and great songwriting. Opening track “Mount The Mountain” has a fantastic guitar line and a solid chorus.
