Jake has apparently participated on a bunch of tribute cover CDs: Queen, AC/DC, Van Halen, etc., and this album is most of the tracks that he has played on (with particular emphasis on Bulletproof Fever: Ted Nugent Tribute). As such, the quality is varied, to say the least.
Regarding how “Incorruptible” compares to previous Iced Earth albums, guitarist and main songwriter Jon Schaffer told Metal Wani: “They’re all kind of their own thing, but I have a very strong gut feeling about this, and so does everybody in the band, that this is one of the really special ones.
