“Screaming Mad” Dee Calhoun, the voice of doom legends Iron Man, is nearing completion of his sophomore solo release, entitled “Go to the Devil”.

What would a mix of Allman Brothers Band with Motorhead sound like? And Lynyrd Skynyrd with Black Sabbath? Or maybe B.B. King with Led Zeppelin? To MUSICALLY answer these somewhat rhetorical questions, in May 2016 skilled musicians Ricardo Cagliari (guitars / vocals), Eduardo Assef (bass) and Gustavo Gomes (drums) joined forces to start a Power Trio that could bring back all the energy of the great bands of the 60’s and 70’s, with a singular punch.

Formed in New Orleans, and establishing themselves as local heroes, the band went through a variety of line ups, before settling on the Lillian Axe moniker and being spotted and courted by Ratt’s manager Marshall Berle, who brokered a recording deal with MCA. Part of the arrangement was that Ratt guitarist Robbin Crosby would produce the album, a situation that worked out well for everyone involved.
