Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.
As requested, here’s ALDO NOVA underrated second studio album, in the form of the very good remastered reissue by Rock Candy Records – 1983’s “Subject: Aldo Nova“.
In the early ’80s Nova secured a publishing deal and then a recording contract with Portrait Records through CBS.
