While not commercially successful as Lita Ford, Vixen, or Lee Aaron, PRECIOUS METAL was one of the coolest all-women hard rock bands from the second half of the ’80s. They actually can play, and very, very well. Their albums have become quite hard to find, used CD copies sold for over U$D 100 at auction sites.

Now here’s in the ultra-rare PRECIOUS METAL album “Unreleased Trax & Demos 1983-1991“, released by the band’s front-woman Leslie Knauer some time ago, available via her website only.

This band was formed by experienced musicians Tommy Girvin (Lead Vocals, Guitar) & Don Cromwell (Bass, Keyboards), both having previously been part of Eddie Money’s band, Fiona Flanagan, Harlan Cage, and more. On drums we find excellent Ron Wikso (The Storm, Foreigner, David Lee Roth).
