Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

Many of you asked for JOHN SYKES last album “Sy-Ops” still unreleased. The album was completed some years ago with the likes of Tony Franklin (The Firm), Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction), Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, Guns N’ Roses) in the recording line up – there were various announcements of release since 2015 but never materialized.

As requested, here’s a rarity from the late ’80s / early ’90s Canadian AOR scene: ROGER LAPOINTE 1991’s album “Handle With Care“. During the ’80s Roger was member of various underground melodic rock bands like Nonstop, however he started to write songs for his own solo debut.
