Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

Saracen – a truly wonderful example of prog-rock 70s. Such a “warm” sound you will not find anywhere else. Saracen is a mix of melodic rock with heavy metal arrangements. Powerful guitar sound blends with “bushy” keyboard passages, it all adds youthful vocals Steve Betneya, kotoryymestami similar to Halford. Norway’s first boy band DRAMA was formed in 1982 in Larvik by Per Kristian Indrehus and Geir Olav ‘Gækki’ Bøkestad, Thomas Siqveland, Per Arne Strandbakken and Gunnar ‘Stikka’ Refsdal, all between 15 and 17 years old. The good thing is this was a special “boy band”: all were already skilled musicians and songwriters, inspired by the classic American rock sound and with a polished Westcoast / Soft FM sound that would have been the envy of many established acts.
