Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

Venice is a hard rock/folk rock/AOR band from Venice, California, USA, that was formed in 1977. Venice is a band of brothers from Venice, CA. The band consists of two sets of brothers, Mark and Michael Lennon, and their cousins, Kipp and Pat Lennon. Kipp and Pat are younger brothers of the Lennon Sisters.
For their 2024 studio release, Stained Glass, Southern California band Venice have, to paraphrase one of their old song titles, gone “back to the well”
