Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

Willy Blue – Willy Blue (UMO) (1991)

Another project involving Steve Bondy released on his Bondy Sound. Besides Bondy himself on guitar most notable members are Peppy Castro (Balance) on vocals & bass, and the incredible lead vocalist Melissa Castro. The sound is firmly based in the melodic hard rock of the late 70’s early 80’s.

Bangkok – Madness – 2021


Originally from Rosario, Argentina, guitarist and singer Pablo Vitantonio is the founding member of the band. Bangkok started in 2014 as a one-man project, recording the demos and pre-production of what would later become the debut album “Signs” (reviewed here in 2015).
