Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

Tyler Kamen – The Infinite Sea (2014)

Tyler Kamen is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer from New York who currently runs his own label, Kamen Entertainment Group, Inc. Tyler’s style is based in psychedelic and progressive rock, but also pulls influence from folk, jazz, and blues. To me “The Infinite Sea” (apparently his first effort) sounds a lot like

Band’s sole self-released demo/CD-r, featuring Alan Kelly of Shy fame. Remixed edition, with another song added (“Poison Heart”, not included in the very first version). Pressed on 100 copies; only the first 30 copies come with band’s bio on A4 printed separate paper.

Warcry — Directo a la Luz [2006, DVD)]


The first and so far the only live DVD of the Spanish power-metal band Warcry, recorded in Madrid in 2005. The DVD contains the most famous songs from all of the band’s albums to “Donde esta la Luz?” (2005). There is also a small bonus like “Backstage before the concert” on the disc. A trifle, but nice.

So this is one of those mystery albums but this one is a little different as it is really really good. Right from the opening riff (which is great) you know you are in for a good Rock & Roll album and the rest of it doesn’t let you down. I think my favourite track is Jenni, Jenni which personally I think could have easily played on secular radio.
