Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

MelodicRock Classics is releasing 2023 cult classic ’80s Hi-tech AOR band THE KOO long-awaited remaster of their classic 1985 LP ”The Koo”, which was briefly released on CD in 1988. It was the band’s one and only release and copies soon disappeared. Since then the album has been sought after and sold for big money over the last couple of decades.

LINMAN – Heaven Calls (Deluxe Edition 2 CD Remaster) 2023

Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Patrik Linman has been part of the Finnish music scene since the early 80s – starting as singer in the band Action. While a lot of his work is in writing, producing and behind the scenes, his debut album – Linman ‘Heaven Calls’ made a strong mark on the scene when released back in 1992. Due to a limited pressing it has since become a much sought-after collector’s item, fetching big prices each time a copy surfaced.
