Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

Melodic and catchy hard rock can be heard from LAKEHURST, who come from southern Hesse and present their first self-produced album with Miracles. The quintet’s music is catchy and moves in very moderate areas in terms of hardness (hard rock, not heavy metal).

LE MANS – On The Streets ’83 [Remaster] 2024, MP3+FLAC


LE MANS was very much an active part of the hard rock scene in and around San Francisco during the early ’80s. An ad in Guitar Player Magazine led to the formation of the band, featuring guitar hero Derek Frigo (who unfortunately died from a drug overdose in 2004) and future The Storm / Hardline Josh Ramos – both sharing lead & rhythm guitar.
