Hard rock (or heavy rock) is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music which has its earliest roots in mid-1960s garage rock, blues rock and psychedelic rock. It is typified by a heavy use of aggressive vocals, distorted electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, and often accompanied with pianos and keyboards.

Formed by Jamie Purpora (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Crowther (drums) in Los Angeles in 1995. Interstate Blues have released 13 albums “Let It Go”, “Interstate Blues”, Velvet, “Southern Lips”, “White Lightning”, “El Diablo” (2005), “Redemption” (2007), “Redux” (2009) “Red Was The Sky” (2010) “Two Thousand Miles Away” (2013) “Dragon Lady” (2016), “Dying More Each Day” (2021) and “Lone Wolf” (2025).
