Dirty Blonde – Passion 1989

PassionPretty good stuff, though nothing outstanding. But like I always say, 80s melodic hard rock/metal is a lot like sex, even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty fuckin good. Anyway, I Got the Itch and Restless Young & Wild are both good tracks, and Passion has some excellent guitar soloing in it. Hell, I have the video for Passion from Headbangers Ball back in the day, and its a BEAST!!!

Mother’s Little Nightmare – Thrills’N Chills (1989)

In fact musically it’s quite glam. It reminds me something between FASTER PUSSYCAT and THE CULT (period “Love” and “Electric”). Unexpected for a German band. Even if it’s let’s say, in the “3rd division”, some songs are really good like for example the song “Mother’s Little Nightmare”. In any case, it’s rare and even if it’s far to be the best album in the world, they is a lot worse than this…
