Ajenda – Unrecognizable (2013)

FrontWhat’s going to be the result if you mix a very good female singer, some killer riffs, lots of melodies, a tight rhythm section and a strong dose of pure pop-rock? The answer is simple; AJENDA!! This new rock band is hailing from Belfast and “Unrecognizable” is entitled its debut album.
In October 2012, the band took part in Hard Rock Hell‘s band competition where they came runners up with over 1000 applicants at the outset. They have supported the likes of FM, Pat McManus, Mike Tramp, Ricky Warwick, The Quireboys and they, also, played at the HRH festival.

Vitne – Blur (2013)

Front‘Blur’ is a reference to both the 80’s as well as to how quickly time can go. Comprised of songs from Vitne’s first EPs, this album gives you heavy..it gives you passion…it gives you ballads…and it gives you hair metal.

Astrakhan – Retrospective (2013)

FrontPer Schelander is well known for his bass playing contributions with HOUSE OF SHAKIRA/PAIN OF SALVATION and ROYAL HUNT , with his brother Jörgen, who is a keyboardist, he formed a musical project that became a real band with the complementary recruitment of Martin Larsson on drums and Alex Lycke (ex-STONE FREE / ex-VICIOUS TONGUE) on vocals, the two brothers share the same passion for challenging songwriting and 70’s flavored Rock in the smartest way enhanced with a good dose of Progressive ingredients. To complete the ASTRAKHAN canvas, the last winning move was to add Marcus Jidell (guitarist for EVERGREY / ex-ROYAL HUNT / ex-THE RING and former JEKYLL & HYDE), the virtuoso who has taken good care of lead guitars but also the full studio duties for the album “Retrospective” as mixing engineer and producer.

Saturday Overdose – Eat My Dust (2013) EP

Front“Eat My Dust!”, the first EP by Italian band Saturday Overdose, will be released on October 8th; this work was recorded at Authoma Studios by Federico Pennazzato (Hell In The Club, Secret Sphere) and combines perfectly 80’s-inspired hard rock and modern atmospheres to create a unique, infectious sound.

Crash Mansion – Live For Something (2013) EP

600x600Crash Mansion is a young UK band that has been around since 2011, and this five track EP titled “Live For Something”, is definitely an impressive debut release. Fitting right into the hard rock/metal slot occupied by big-name acts like Halestorm, Trivium, and Avenged Sevenfold, these five British guys lay down some hard and heavy tunes pumped full of fiery guitar-playing, rib-shaking rhythms, and powerhouse vocals…

Carousel Vertigo – Mighty (2013)

FrontDrawing influences from 70s bands such as Humble Pie, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, Free, early Aerosmith and Bon Scott-era AC/DC, Carousel Vertigo will perhaps be best known to UK audiences from their support slots on two Status Quo tours – the ‘Pictures Exposed’ trek in 2009-2010 and the ‘Quid Pro Quo’ jaunt in 2012.  Indeed, one of the tracks on the album, ’3rd Degree’ was co-written by Quo bassist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards.

Cruz Machine – The West (2013)

FrontThis album began twenty years ago when I arrived on the west coast to seek a showbiz career. Instantly, I was catapulted into the rock n’ roll dimension as a lead singer for an ” in your face” original shock rock band playing at Whisky a Go Go and The Roxy.
