This is an album of melodic metal instrumentals songs. Unlike many guitar-based instrumental albums, the guitar solos are shorter, giving room for the heavy and unique rhythms to shine through. Although I deem my music as metal it also has a hard rock feel in some parts.
The Progressive Rock genre’ is home to Mimes On Rollercoasters™. Fans of bands such as Yes, Pink Floyd, Kansas, Jethro Tull and REM, Mimes On Rollercoasters™ aspires to carry on in their tradition.
This album, has been over six years in the making. It began when I moved to Florida in April 2007 and was finally finished in December 2013.
Pushing the Sun worked with producer Tim Narducci (Systematic & SpiralArms) on their upcoming full length album “House of Lights” which is scheduled to be released in January of 2014.

RUSTFIELD is sort of Progressive Rock / Metal band, formed in 2007 and based in Torre Pellice in Italy. They have released demos – one in 2009 and second in 2011 and now with a fresh debut album “Kingdom of Rust” just out. The debut album is featured by special guests such as: John Macaluso (SYMPHONY X, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on drums, Federica De Boni (WHITE SKULL) on vocals, Douglas R.
